Advances in reproductive medicine have significantly increased the success of fertility treatments. Nevertheless,a new challenge has emerged:recurrent implantation failure(RIF). RIF brings mental stress and heavy economic burden to patients. There is no uniform definition of RIF,and it is a complex problem with several variables. The exact prevalence rate of RIF was difficult to de-termine because of the varied definitions used to describe the disease. This paper aims to present the history of RIF and focuses on the application.
