    Abstract:

Objective:To compare the pharmacokinetic characteristics between obese and normal patients. Methods:The databases of Medline,Sciencedirect,Cochrane,CEPS,CETD,CNKI and WanFang were systematically searched. RevMan4.2 was used for meta-analysis. Results:A total of 5 researches were included in the research. Meta analysis showed that vancomycin clearance(CL) and distribution volume at steady state(Vdss) were significantly higher in obese population than in normal population. Obese population had higher CL/IBW and Vd/IBW. However, there was no significant difference in CL/TBW between the two groups. Conclusion:CL and Vdss are significantly higher in obese population, but CL/TBW is similar in the two groups.
