Diabeticnephropathy（DN）hasbecomeamajorproblemaffectinghumanhealth，andthepreventionandtreatmentofitsdevelopmentandprogressionhasattractedmoreandmoreattentionintheindustry.Inrecentyears，stemcelltransplantationhasshowngreatpotentialinthepreventionandtreatmentofDN，especiallymesenchymalstemcells（MSCs）transplantation.MoreandmorestudieshaveshownthatMSCsmainlyexertatherapeuticeffectinaparacrinemode，andaseriesofnanoscalevesicles（exosomes）releasedbyMSCsactasanimportantmediatorforintercellularcommunication.Theseexosomescantransferstemcellphenotypetorecipientcells，promotestemcellmaintenance，differentiation，self-renewal，andrepair，mediateinteractionsbetweenmatrixelements，andpro－motetissuerepairandregenerationofrecipientcells.Stemcellexosome-mediatedtreatmentofchronickidneydiseasehasbecomearesearchhotspotinrecentyears，andsomeachievementshavebeenmadeinthetreatmentofDN.Thisarticlereviewstherecentad－vancesinstemcellexosomesinthetreatmentofDNinChinaandforeigncountries.
