    Abstract:

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the manifestation of the metabolic syndrome in the liver. Currently, there is no effective treatment program. Bile acids (BAs), as metabolites and signaling molecules of the intestinal flora, are involved in the pathogenesis of NAFLD from different levels. This article summarizes the mechanism of intestinal flora-bile acid axis in NAFLD and related drug treatment progress.
